Frequently Asked Questions

Does Golden Peak Recovery take medical insurance?

Yes! We accept most major medical insurance plans. Recent legislation has made it mandatory for insurance providers to pay for drug and alcohol treatment. Speak with one of our admissions representatives, who can assist you in verifying your coverage and provide information on other payment options.

Do you take Medicaid?

Unfortunately, Medicaid doesn’t provide coverage for treatment at Golden Peak Recovery. However, there are alternative ways to pay for treatment. If you can afford it, there’s the option of paying out-of-pocket. If possible, seeking aid from family members or friends can help cover the cost of care, which you can repay later. My Treatment Lender, credit cards and traditional banks may also cover the cost of treatment.

Is your facility accredited?

Yes. Our Golden Peak Recovery centers are Joint Commission Accredited. The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies nearly 21,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. Joint Commission accreditation is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards. Our accreditation solidifies our commitment to exceeding all expectations when it comes to quality care.

What kinds of substance addictions do you treat?

We treat drug and alcohol addictions, including those involving prescription and illicit opioids, alcohol, stimulants and inhalants. At Golden Peak Recovery, we offer dual diagnosis treatment to address co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety or depression along with addiction treatment.

What kind of treatment programs do you offer?

Golden Peak Recovery offers the following in rehabilitative care: 24/7 medically assisted detoxification, residential inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization programs, intensive inpatient and outpatient treatment. Our treatment is centered around a humanistic approach where professionals and clients work in tandem to achieve sobriety, overcome the traumas of addiction, and live life to the fullest.

What therapies and modalities do you use during treatment?

Our treatment programs are tailored to your individual needs, after a comprehensive evaluation to determine the severity of your addiction and to assess your physical and mental health. Your personalized treatment plan may include:

Does Golden Peak Recovery use a 12-step program?

We provide an optional 12-step program as one of our treatment modalities. We combine cognitive behavioral therapy with spiritual elements from the 12-step program to help you achieve long-term sobriety. During your addiction treatment, you will learn the guiding principles of the 12-step program alongside other individuals receiving treatment.

How long does treatment last at Golden Peak Recovery?

Our addiction treatment programs and services are not defined by a number of days, but rather by your individual needs. Our phased approach allows you to advance through treatment at a pace based on your specific situation and clinical milestones.

Do you offer outpatient programs that allow me to still go to work, go to school or take care of family members?

Yes. We offer a variety of outpatient treatment programs for alcohol and drugs. Our programs are centered around making rehab work for you. We know those who are committed will put in the work. So we are committed to providing programs that will let you fulfill your responsibilities, while still putting your sobriety first.

Can my family see or call me while I’m in treatment? Can I get mail or email?

Calling schedules are planned in advance, allowing ample time for you to connect with family members and loved ones during supervised sessions. Family members are also welcome to participate in family systems therapy, and in some cases you may work with your case manager to set up visitation and additional methods of contact. All mail deliveries are held by staff and released upon completion of your treatment. Internet access is not generally available during rehab, although limited, monitored internet access may be allowed.

What’s your confidentiality policy?

Your privacy is important to us. We follow federal HIPAA guidelines and all communication must be approved by you with written consent. Your treatment will be completely confidential at our centers.
