Lisa Newman, BSN
Lisa Newman serves as the Nursing Supervisor for Golden Peak Recovery. She works closely with Golden Peak Recovery’s medical team to help facilitate a treatment plan for clients to address withdrawal symptoms that may arise throughout the course of their stay. Additionally, Lisa provides support, leadership, and guidance to the nursing team so they can safely and compassionately care for clients during their journey through recovery. She brings a breadth of experience to the team, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Denver. Drawing on her clinical experience in pain management and in caring for post-surgical patients actively going through substance withdrawal, she also provides direct client care and helps clients manage and understand more about their medications, physical health, and withdrawal symptoms from addiction.
